These are some of our favourite games that the entire family could take part in. They’re sure to be a hit at your next family gathering!
 

White Elephant
This game works best with six or more players. Every guest has to bring with them a gift-wrapped odd item from their house (preferably one that they don’t want to keep anymore). Give each guest a number and then in chronological order have guests pick out one of the “presents”. Once everyone has selected their present, they can unwrap it or switch with someone else based on their chronological number.
 

Charades
At the start of this game the players need to write words, phrases, movies, characters or people on pieces of paper and then fold them and place them in a bowl. Your guests then pick a partner who takes turns picking one of the folded pieces of paper and act out whatever is written. The partner who is not acting guesses. The winning team is the team that correctly guessed the most phrases.
 

Mystery Gift Pass
Take a gift of your choice and wrap it in many different layers of paper. Turn on some music and allow your guests to pass it to one another until music stops. Whoever is holding the gift when the music stops unwraps one layer of the wrapping paper, and then the music starts again and so on. To make this game even more exciting you can use different coloured wrapping paper for each layer or on each layer you could write a trivia question or a task for the guest to complete. The guest to finally unwrap the gift is the winner of the game and the gift!
