Ice Cream Cake

This summer classic is bound to impress your guests.

Ingredients:

  • 1 gallon of chocolate ice cream
  • 1 gallon of vanilla ice cream
  • 1 pack of Oreo™ cookies
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate sauce
  • 1 jar of hot fudge

Feel free you add more of your favourite ingredients. You can even change the ice cream flavours and cookie varieties to your liking.

Directions:

  • Crush the Oreo™ cookies into mini pieces, but be sure to save a row for decorating the top of the cake. With the crushed cookies slowly add the chocolate sauce until all the cookies are coated, but not drenched.
  • Now for the ice cream part, let the ice cream thaw enough so it can be easily spread. On a cake pan spread an inch of vanilla ice cream, then add chocolate ice cream until the cake pan is half way full.
  • On top on these ice cream layers, spread a 1/2 inch of the Oreo™ cookie crumbs and drizzle some fudge on top of them (as much as you feel fit).
  • The next layer will be chocolate ice cream again, followed by vanilla until full the cake pan is full.

Once finished, stick the cake back in freezer for at least 6 hours. When ready to serve set the full Oreo™ cookies decoratively on top. You can also add whip cream as decorative frosting to add personal flare.
