Prep the stage – You may need to consider moving furniture around to make it easier for your guests to navigate throughout the party. If you’re serving food, setting up a bar or serving coffee, it’s a smart idea to set up stations throughout the space. This helps to avoid everyone gathering in one spot (which typically tends to be the kitchen!)

Take inventory – It’s amazing how many serving dishes can be used, so take a good look at what you have in advance so you aren’t stuck pulling out old dishes which you would otherwise not want your guests to see!
